Shu born in Tokyo . He studied at the Contemporary Art Education Center after graduating from Toyo Art School. He turned from design to music. He founded his own music company, Modern Music Market Ltd, after appearing on his 160,000-selling CD. In addition to collaborating with world-famous musicians and performing music activities overseas, including in Vietnam, he also hosts events and works to connect Japan, Vietnam, and overseas business.

His musical career began in 1982 as a singer and bassist. He has won many excellent awards in competitions. He studied graphic design and contemporary art at an art school and was also active in a rock band. Coming from the design industry, he entered the professional music field and worked as an employee for famous Japanese musicians such as Tetsuya Komuro and Kenji Endo. In 1993, he founded the rock band "SUPAER PLANET" .With that band, he participated in the historic rock CD, ``Dance2Noise004/Victor Music Industry'' (That CD sold 160,000 copies and ranked 16th in Japan in sales). Since then, he has been active in genres such as rock, jazz and pop music, and studied under world-famous jazz musician Tommy Campbell.

In this connection, he collaborated and recorded with famous musicians from the United States, Brazil and other countries. As a bass player, he was appointed monitor player for Rob Allen in the United States (at the time, he was Japan's only bassist). Since 2014, he has performed music in Vietnam and in 2016, Vietnam National Television produced and broadcast a television program introducing him. In 2023, he sings, performs and is a producer at the "Japan - Vietnam International Cultural Exchange Festival 2023" held at Hanoi Opera House.

He is Japanese and can sing in Vietnamese. He is expanding his repertoire by learning about the history of Japanese and Vietnamese songs.

He started his radio show in 2017. The broadcasting station is Tokyo Star Radio 77.5MHz. The station has an audience of 1.1 million viewers, and his two-hour program airs every Friday from 8pm (Japan time) to 10pm (Japan time). He is also a radio producer and produces his 15 shows a month.

Program content includes music topics, Vietnamese and overseas culture, music information programs, etc. Recently, he not only sings on the radio, but also talks about Japanese history and Vietnamese songs and history.
